Have to pay for!

Have to pay to compile!

NO KEYBOARD NAVIGATION ALLOWED

App is okay so far, but the mainly thing needed is the Bluetooth keyboard to be able to navigate through the lines. Without the navigation its painful to write any code in it. Also, after the code is in, built and compiled, when Im running a very simple code asking the user for a simple input the app bypasses it going straight to the end. So whats the point? In order to get the results I had to enter the value inside the code.

Very Stupid

What the **** I have to pay to compile this o my **** god

Best programming app ever!!!

This app is very good get but you should get unlimited complications to run the program. This app helps me learn java through my errors. Thank you Java! Im making a video game because if you. By the way can you make a C++ app please thank you for your efforts

Best app ever

Best java app out there

Not so good...

It would be a nice programming app except for it charges you to run the program.

I paid for this app couple years ago

I paid for this app when it was originally a paid app. Now its a free app and you have to pay $2.99 to get unlimited compilations. I think since I ready paid that price when the app originally cost money, that I should get that privilege. Instead, the developer made a new separate app with unlimited compilations that cost money. That just rubs me the wrong way. I emailed dev and he basically said tough luck. I would not support this dev. The app is very simplistic anyway.

Wow, Just wow

So the app was great, i downloaded it and wrote a program, but when i went to compile it, the app wanted me to pay. Now i am normally fine with paying for an app, however paying per compile is just dumb. Yes i know there is an unlimited compile option, but the app shouldnt be free if you are going to charge per compile

Important

Need up date for ios 8

You have to buy compilations?

The editor is nice with all the characters available, but i find it absolutely stupid that you have to pay for compilations. Sure its only 99 cents for 100 compilations but if you are trying to practice and end up with errors for a good amount of times. That 100 will run out rather quickly.

Wow, Im practicing Java on the iPad!

I kind of fell into this app while looking for something that I can use on the iPad to practice Java programming. I bought the full version and have not regretted the purchase once. It works very well. Earlier version was a little buggy but the latest version I have not had one issue writing compiling and running some of my basic Java programs. This is been a super helpful tool for me to use while studying for my computer science programming class.

Doesnt work very well

Its nice, but most complicated programs that run fine on other compilers encounter weird runtime errors.

Needs Offline Documentation

This app would be 5 stars if only it would allow download and storage of the Java documentation for offline use.

You should say it is a paid app if it is one

You cant do anything unless you buy compilations for 99¢ or unlimited for 2.99 so you might as well make the app cost 2.99 and give us free compilations. What you are doing is cheating us out of our money. Thats why you have such a low rating on the App Store. The other thing you could do is make everything free, but you are obviously too stingy to do that so...

You get only one free compilation

You can only run one piece of source code once and only one class can be used. I made the mistake of using their example code as my one free one so the app is pretty much a fancy notepad with an option to pay. Other than that, its still horrible.

NEEDS MAJOR FIX

It wont let me restore my unlimited compiles! I click it and it does nothing. Fix this and I will rate 5 stars.

Boss

I purchased this app to use with the iPad mini, seems to work fine for basic things, seems to not want to run swing apps, but complies fine then errors on runtime. And code completion wouldnt hurt.

Pay for use

Looks free but you need to pay to compile your code. There are two buying options but the best one is unlimited compiling for about 3$. Id rather just install eclipse on a computer.

EXCELLENT app!

This app would be even better if it had some graphics capability. You can write code on an iPad or iPhone, then if you wish you can transfer the code to a laptop or desktop and compile and run it (or just compile and run it on your iPad or iPhone). I may write a program to compute the entries on the infamous IRS form 941, For reference, I would recommend David Ecks excellent online Java book and a list of Java subroutines,

Great for programming on the go.

The actual price is $3 for unlimited compiling, but its well worth it. You can get a head start on any projects/labs pretty much anywhere and easily send them to your email.
