JVM Programming Language App Reviews

Dont typically rate apps but this is the only app that I could find for an iOS device that allows you to compile / run a Java program on a mobile device. Very handy, doesnt run for free although I think the price for unlimited code runs is worth the purchase. Hope it will help me in completing my introduction to Java course this semester instead of having to always use Eclipse on my computer. Glad I can practice coding on the go.

it asks you to buy compilations LOL 1$ for 100.

Has all the features, etc, Nice interface, smooth compiling.

This app does what it says, its useful for programming on the go. However, I think that it needs a few updates; for example, when I connected my bluetooth keyboard, the arrow keys did not function and I could not remotely navigate through my programs. Aside from that, good app overall

You have to pay them every time you run a program. Not worth it.

doesnt work well with a keyboard and doesnt let you edit your program. You compile it once and itll tell you whats wrong but when you debug the program and recompile..it compiles the original version again and ignores your edit. super annoying and not worth the 3 bucks it costs to buy unlimited compilations. If Java is reading this, please fix this issue.

Makes you pay to compile stupidest thing ever

You have to pay real money when you create a new program or if ur a co geek like me each time you compile a program. Dont use just dont find something else

I Never write reviews but this app was just to much.. No one is going to pay each time they time to run there program. You should of just charged for the app itself and not to run it.. Its app is worthless for beginners like me.

Though it works, I cant believe it actually charges you to compile! I might as well use my computers IDE...

Right when I finished programming intensive code I went to compile the script and nothing happened. You have to buy more stuff to do anything. I am suspecting that this was produced just for idiot democrats. This would be a good app if it did ANYTHING.

This app is useless for anything outside of command line programming (ex interacting with external files using buffered readers, formatters, or scanners). If you intend this app to be a primary source for your code, think again. With the iPhones and IPads limiting capabilities, this app is even more limited. Its a great app, but if you want full working range, download a java IDE for your computer (I strongly suggest Eclipse);

The app is promising and works well i dont mind that some bluetooth keyboards dont work CONS: You have to buy compiling You cant rely on it to much Its a bit confuzing (add tutorials) Cant use some things on Bluetooth keyboards Pros It works Comes with existing simple programs And comes with templates

This app is great for building and running programs, however I have not found a working way to actually learn java on this app. I wish I could but you would have to learn it on the internet

Codes never compile at all

All lot of these reviews are not true. People complain about builds and compiling errors. If you dont know, every compilers error messages are different. The only problem for me was the deleting large amounts of code taking along time.

Its good to begin with. However, this app requires support for cut and copying a code selection, and needs to support Bluetooth keyboard to use the arrow keys. Auto import would be nice too. Arrow keys on Bluetooth is a big deal. Its super hard to traverse the code without it.
